We are able to offer a wide variety of authentic design styles that can be melded with indigenous terrain, climates, plant species and architecture. As you can see in our portfolio our landscapes range from Mediterranean-style villas to Oriental Gardens, from carved stone fountains to natural spring-like waterfalls, and from native xeriscape plants to lush topicals. We at Oasis Gardens look forward to helping you create your own personal oasis.
We strive to deliver exceptional designs with integrity and a focus on creating a positive experience for everyone involved. Our friendly team is committed to exceeding expectations through innovative on-site solutions.
OUR TEAM AND HISTORY
Peter Fleury earned his Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture in 1976. Over the next eight years, he collaborated with various firms, contributing to projects in diverse locations such as Denver, San Antonio, Austin, Japan, Michigan, Italy, and India.
In 1984, Peter decided to make Austin, Texas his home, drawn by its year-round favorable climate, the unique hill country terrain, and the vibrant, eclectic culture that the city offers.
The following year, in 1985, he established Oasis Gardens as a sole proprietorship. As Austin flourished in the 1990s, so did Oasis Gardens, eventually growing into an incorporated business.
Peter’s extensive national and international experience spans across designing landscapes in Texas, California, New York, Bali, Italy, Hawaii, Brazil, Portugal, and numerous other stunning locations around the globe.
HOW WE WORK
As a design company, our process begins with an initial consultation. During this meeting, we take the time to understand your ideas, and preferred styles, and how they can be developed with the site and architecture of your project.
In this first session, we will also discuss and establish a design fee based on the project’s scope. This fee ensures a professionally crafted landscape plan that includes detailed designs for irrigation, lighting, hardscaping, and waterscaping.
